Prof. Reg Bahadur Bhandari, Registrar of LTU, and Mr. Hari Krishna Adhikari, Managing Director of Broadway Infosys, in the presence of witnesses Sr. Assistant Prof. Chaturbhuj Bhatt, Co-ordinator of the Research, Innovation & Development Cell at Lumbini Technological University (Institute of Engineering & IT), and Mr. Uttam Adhikari, Business Development Director of Broadway Infosys. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to fostering practical skills, innovation, and employability among students in the rapidly evolving field of Information Technology.

2. Background of the Parties

2.1 Broadway Infosys Pvt. Ltd.

Established in 2008, Broadway Infosys is a professional IT training and development institute. It provides industry-oriented training in programming languages, web development, graphics, and multimedia. The institution focuses on preparing students for real-world IT environments and facilitates internships and job placements through its industry network.

2.2 Lumbini Technological University (LTU)

Established in 2022, LTU is a higher education institution committed to excellence in engineering, information technology, agriculture, forestry, and tourism. The university emphasizes innovation, research, and practical learning to produce industry-ready graduates capable of contributing to socio-economic development.

3. Objectives of the MoU

The primary objectives of the MoU include:

4. Scope of Collaboration

4.1 Training Programs

• Broadway Infosys will deliver professional IT training to students of programs such as:
  • B.Tech in Civil Engineering
  • B.Tech in IT Engineering
  • B.Tech in CS & AI
  • B.Tech in IT
  • M.Tech in CS
  • M.Tech in IT
• Training will be conducted physically or online depending on mutual agreement.
• Students will receive industry-relevant, practical training from experienced instructors.
• LTU students will receive a 15% discount on additional courses at Broadway Infosys.

4.2 Workshops and Skill Development

• Short-term workshops and seminars will be organized for students of all semesters.
• Faculty and staff will also benefit from training in emerging technologies.

4.3 Curriculum Support

• Broadway Infosys will assist LTU in aligning its curriculum with current industry practices and technological advancements.

4.4 Internship and Job Placement

• Internship opportunities (Kathmandu-based or virtual) will be provided.
• 10–15% of trained students will receive job placement support based on merit and performance.
• Placement assistance will include CV forwarding and referrals to partner companies.

5. Duration and Review

• The MoU is valid for one year from the date of signing.
• It may be extended or amended with mutual consent.
• Both parties will conduct periodic reviews (at least once per academic year) to evaluate progress and effectiveness.

6. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of shared information, including:

7. Dispute Resolution

• Disputes will be resolved amicably through dialogue and negotiation.
• If unresolved, mediation or arbitration will be pursued as per the laws of Nepal.
