Lumbini Technological University Conducts Interactive Session “Scope of IT and Engineering Education in higher Studies” with Students at Dhamboji Secondary School

Lumbini Technological University organized an interactive session today with students at Dhamboji Secondary School to discuss the university’s academic programs. The event was marked by a warm welcome, where Dhamboji Secondary School’s teacher, Narayan Chalise, honored the university’s Registrar, Mr. Reg Bahadur Bhandari, by presenting him with a ceremonial scarf (Khada) and honored to senior assistant professor of LTU, Mr. Chaturbhuj Bhatta.
The session was attended by esteemed guests, including Dr. Kabindra Raj Bhattarai, Dr. Purna Bahadur Shahi, Hemant Raj Kafle, Maniram Batala, Jyoti Upadhya, Resham Chapagain and Pradeep Shree Adhikari and 45 students were present at the session.
During the program, Mr. Reg Bahadur Bhandari provided an insightful presentation on Lumbini Technological University, sharing detailed information about its academic offerings, vision, and future prospects.
When students inquired about the curriculum standards and distinguishing features of the university, Mr. Reg Bahadur Bhandari explained that the university has five academic institutes: Engineering, Information Technology, Agriculture, Forestry, and Tourism. He further elaborated that under the Engineering and Information Technology institutes, the university currently offers B.Tech in IT, B.Tech in CS & AI, B.Tech in IT Engineering, and B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Additionally, he announced the upcoming launch of postgraduate programs, including M.Tech in CS and M.Tech in IT. He emphasized that the university follows a globally standardized curriculum to ensure high-quality education.
Following the informative session, Maniram Batala delivered the vote of thanks, officially concluding the event. The entire program was smoothly coordinated by Vice Principal of Dhamboji Secondary School, Dr. Purna Bahadur Shahi, The Registrar and the LTU family extend a special acknowledgment, heartfelt appreciation and sincere gratitude for his exceptional facilitation, support, and outstanding hospitality.
